Marvin Gaye Music at 500 Orange Center

Marvelous is the inaugural show of the Alliance Musical Series, a musical journey through the life of groundbreaking singer-songwriter and producer Marvin Gaye, The Prince of Motown featuring Southern Soul Society, and Will Vaughn.

Celebrate a career that shaped the sound of soul and culture of soul music into a sophisticated form spanning social and sexual politics. Blessed with a beautiful tenor and a three-octave vocal range, Gaye was among the most gifted composers and singers of his era.

This musical extravaganza features a live band of local musicians who have shared the stage with legends like Bo Diddley, Bobby Blue Band, Chaka Khan, Celine Dion, and more with all of Gaye’s greatest hits such as, Let’s Get It On, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, Sexual Healing, Heard It Through The Grapevine, What’s Going On and many more!!!

Come Sing, Dance, and Enjoy at the 500 Orange Event Center, as the music takes you on a journey through this celebrated career! The series will be a one-of-a-kind cabaret club-style experience in the gorgeously renovated 500 Orange Event Center, complete with a full liquor bar and small plates a la carte from Bonner Mobile Bar. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., show begins at 7:30 p.m.
